The movie is based on real events during WWII, following Prime Minister Winston Churchill and Ian Fleming as they lead a secret squad using unconventional tactics against the Germans.

Ritchson has other projects in the works, including Playdate with Kevin James and a Christmas comedy with Arnold Schwarzenegger. In Reacher Season 3, Ritchson reprises his role as the titular character, facing off against a criminal trafficker played by Anthony Michael Hall. No release date has been announced yet. The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare hits theaters on April 19.
